Document Register Application Privacy Policy

Impararia Inc. ("Impararia", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the personal information of our application users, clients, and partners. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information through our digital solutions and applications, in compliance with Québec’s Law 25, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and other applicable Canadian privacy laws.
 

1. Scope of this Policy

This policy applies to all personal information collected via our "Document Register" digital product, including but not limited to web applications integrated with platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). It governs how we handle personal data in the context of delivering AEC-focused digital tools.
 

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect or store your Autodesk login credentials, email address, or personal data.
 

  • Authentication:
    Users are redirected to Autodesk’s secure sign-in page. All credential handling and verification are fully managed by Autodesk authentication servers.

  • User Identification:
    While Autodesk may show your email address during the permissions consent process, the IMPARARIA Document Register app does not access, store, or process this email address in any way.

  • User Profile data:
    Our application uses user profile data to fetch the full name of the logged in user.

  • Project Metadata Access:
    Once authenticated, the app is temporarily granted access to:

    • List of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) hubs and the projects the user has access to.

    • File and folder names within the selected project.

    • Project metadata, such as version number, discipline, status, and attributes relevant to ISO 19650 compliance.

    • Compliance status results from the app’s ISO 19650 naming validation engine.

  • Project Registration for Naming Convention Tracking:
    Once Authenticated, the app is granted access to be able to create, view, update & delete buckets which is needed for the correct functioning of “Register Your Project for Naming Convention Tracking” functionality.
    Note: The app does not access or store file contents (e.g., PDF, Revit, or IFC models). Metadata is used only to support display and compliance checking.

3. How We Use This Information

  • To display a flattened table view of your Autodesk project files for ease of navigation

  • To run real-time validation of filenames against ISO 19650 naming conventions

  • To generate a project-wide compliance report viewable and downloadable by the user

  • To register your ACC project for naming convention tracking. This is achieved using Webhooks capability of APS.
     

4. Data Storage & Retention

  • The app does not store any project files, personal data, email addresses, or metadata beyond the active user session.

  • All accessed data is used temporarily in memory and is cleared at the end of each session.
     

5. Permissions Requested

The application requests the following Autodesk permissions to function:

  • View your profile information, products & services related information

    • To extract the full name of user, email address to identify if the user is a Project Administrator in ACC or not.

  • View and Manage your data

    • View hubs metadata

    • View projects metadata

    • View Project Files metadata

    • Update Attribute – Naming Validation Status

  • View your bucket & Create bucket

    • For creating webhooks

  • Related Accounts: View your products & service accounts

 

6. Security

We prioritize user data security and privacy. All processing occurs securely and temporarily. No data is shared with third parties or stored on external servers.


7. Your Rights Under Québec Law (Law 25)

Under Law 25, Québec residents have the right to:

  • Request access to and correction of their personal information

  • Withdraw consent at any time (subject to contractual/legal limits)

  • Request deletion of their information where applicable

  • Be informed of and object to automated decision-making (if applicable)

  • File complaints with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI)
